Brazil forward Neymar imply that the 2022 World Cup at the end of next year. It will be his last World Cup even though the name is not very old.

Neymar plans 2022 World Cup in Qatar. It was his last World Cup. Even at that point, the Paris Saint-Germain forward will only be 30 years old, and can still play the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico, the United States as a co-host easily.

As for Neymar, who has played for Brazil at senior level since 2010. He has so far scored 113 games, 69 goals. But the 29-year-old has had a strained relationship with Brazilian fans in recent months.

The Paris Saint-Germain superstar has been nursing a leg complaint and will play no part in meetings with Venezuela and Uruguay

Brazil have confirmed that Neymar has been released from their squad through injury. With the Paris Saint-Germain forward set to sit out 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Uruguay.

The Selecao were always aware that a leg complaint was going to prevent the 28-year-old from taking part in the first game of that double header.

Neymar was called upon, though, in the hope that he could return to full fitness in time to figure in a crunch clash with Uruguay in Montevideo.
