Rasmus Hojlund has apologised after causing anger among Manchester United fans with his post following Thursday’s Europa League draw with FC Porto. Hojlund started his

first game of the season and scored as United fought back from a 3-3 draw to avoid defeat.
However, his upbeat post did not go down well with some United fans who took aim at the striker for celebrating his goal after another disappointing defeat in Europe which piled further pressure on Ten Hag.
Returning to the platform to explain the post, Hojlund insisted he never intended to distract from the result but asked fans to move on and focus on Sunday’s crunch fixture against Aston Villa.
After the game, Hojlund posted a photo album of himself celebrating his goals, with the caption: “Luckily I’ve got six weeks to train and celebrate. A win would be perfect.” The Denmark
international has since come under fire, with some fans believing it was not the right time.
However, Hojlund has since issued a statement and apologised for causing some discomfort
. “I’ve seen some upset about my post yesterday,” he posted on his ทางเข้า ufabet stories. “
I didn’t mean to say that … I’m just happy to be scoring goals again after a few weeks injured and missing a lot of games. “
Of course we wanted to win. I tried my best to give you everything. I’m sorry for the post yesterday but I didn’t mean it to be like that. “
Let’s move on. Get ready to give it your all again against Villa this Sunday.”
