England caretaker manager Lee Carsley has hinted that Cole Palmer could be available at left-back when needed.

Carsley announced his squad for the Nations League games against Greece and Finland
earlier this month and was asked about the team’s lack of left-back options. With Luke Shaw still struggling with an injury. Ben Chilwell,
once again, has been overlooked after falling out of favour at Chelsea this season.
Rico Lewis and Levi Colwill are expected to be the two frontmen at left-back, having featured in Carsley’s first two games for the club.
However, Carsley has identified Palmer as another option, along with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bukayo Saka.
“Trent can play there, Bukayo can play there, Cole can play there, so we’ve got a number of them to choose from,” Carsley said.
“Of course you want to get the best out of them in their natural position. “
We know if we put a right-footed player at left-back we’ve got to play differently. “
I think if you ask a right-footed player to be taller and wider, sometimes it can be predictable. The key is to keep the opposition guessing. We have a different way of attacking,” he said to โปรโมชั่น ufabet Sport
. “I think with the players we have we can switch players with the wingers to keep them in their natural areas and give the opposition a different idea.”
